Remus walked down to the lake from first period and was happy he had break now. He took his shoes off and dipped his feet in the water. Remus noticed an area where he could practice his powers out. He looked at the land and watched and the land sunk in a little, he then looked at the water and drew a line in the air from the water into the dip and watched the water flow into the dip.

Karin walks makes her way to the lake hoping for some quiet time now that break has settled in. she pauses when she sees Remus and she walks to him and stands behind him, quietly waiting for him to notice her.

Remus looked up and saw the girl. "Hello, have a seat! I am practicing some elemental magic." he said as he snapped his finger and watched fire dance on his index finger. Remus then opened his hand and rolled the flame around his hand.

she smiled a little and took a seat next to him. Karin watches as the fire dances on his fingertips and she clears her throat quietly. "I'm Karin Sarish...Kara for short." she said in a near whisper of a voice.

"Remus John Lupin, just call me Remus." he said as he cuffed the flame and it vanished. "So how is school going?" he asked as he looked at the girl and then at his watch. "What class do you have next?"
The wind blew and leaves from the nearby tree blew into the lake. "You know, I have always wanted to fly." he laughed

"School is going...well it's going." she laughed a little and sighed, "transfigurations next...i'm bloody awful at it though." she watched him watch the leaves and cocks her head at his statement. "But you can with a broom..." her voice trailed off.

Remus shook his head. "Can't, deathly afraid of heights. There are just times where I want to get away from everything." he said as he looked at the water and watched as fish started to jump into the man made pond he just finished.
